Job Description:
About the Role We are currently seeking a compassionate and
creative Music Therapist to join our team in Miami Shores, FL .
This is a full-time, employee position working with a pediatric
caseload in our clinic setting. The ideal candidate has a strong
foundation in music therapy, enjoys working in a collaborative
environment, and is excited about contributing to a holistic
approach to child development. You’ll have the opportunity to work
closely with other therapists across disciplines and be part of a
team that values innovation, flexibility, and professional growth.
3. What You'll Do Deliver individual and group music therapy
sessions to pediatric clients with a variety of needs and
diagnoses. Use evidence-based techniques to address social,
emotional, cognitive, and motor goals through music interventions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLPs, OTs, Art
Therapists) to support whole-child development. Document
assessments, treatment plans, and session progress in a timely and
professional manner. Communicate with families to provide updates,
support, and carryover strategies. Participate in ongoing training,
team meetings, and community events. Utilize clinic-provided
musical instruments and therapy resources. 4. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy. Certification by
the Certification Board for Music Therapists (MT-BC) (required).
Pediatric experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
preferred, but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Reliable
transportation and access to a computer. Clean background check.
